about

The first entry in "The Dodecalogy", HEAVENLY BODY, follows a planetary body on a million year journey to transform from a collection of dust particles into a terrestrial, solar behemoth. The life cycle of the planet has only just begun - leading it into a period of activity theorized as 'Late Heavy Bombardment' in which a great number of solar bodies shaped the early surface of the planet through its early geological development and lead to orbiting satellites. These events are so grand and contain such huge forces that the effects are felt in the outer reaches of the galaxy, rippling through planetesimals left over from the formation of planets and those just beginning to become one, occasionally returning them to us.

HEAVENLY BODY takes the idea of this incredible length of time, heavy weight and empty space from a wide point-of-view, pushing the music into a deeply synthesized realm, fusing classical music composition with 20th century progressive electronics and a heavily atmospheric foundation to produce a massive sound that is a fitting introduction to this massive project.
